Dog Training
Meet Our Trainer - Ahna Manz
While Ahna has always had a passion for animals, her dog training career began 6 years ago volunteering with service dogs while pursuing a Bachelors in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Upon graduation, she received a certification in Police Dog Handling and Instruction from Highland Canine’s School for Dog Trainers in Alabama. Ahna continues both formal and informal educational opportunities and has acquired her pet CPR certification and is registered with the AKC as a CGC Evaluator. In her own home, she enjoys teaching tricks to her Belgian Malinois, Scout, and snuggles with her cats, Smudge and Zorro. As much as she loves working with working breeds like shepherds and Malinois, she also loves a good couch potato Cavalier Spaniel too. Each dog and family is a new opportunity and a new connection to be made. Her favorite moments are when the information finally clicks for both her human and canine students, leading to a deeper understanding and stronger connection between them.
